About this blog

Dear Reader

Thank you for visiting my blog.

I am a 25 year old manager in corporate communications. As such I spend most of days reading and writing corporate speak. Anyone involved in a similar field will know that such activities gets boring. And quickly. This, my umpteenth and most probably final blog, will be where I will kick back, loosen up, relax and rant or rave depending on the subject.

My passions lie in literature, music and cricket. Therefore, a significant number of posts will be ranting on about the literature I detest (Dan Brown, I am looking at you, charlatan), the music that I despise (Creed, Nickleback, Ja-Rule, *insert clichéd RnB star*, please take a bow) and the cricketers that annoy me (the entire English cricket team, minus Kevin Pieterson, for instance). I make no apologies.

When I rave, it will also most probably be related to literature, music or cricket. I make no apologies.

I choose to devote minimal coverage to Sri Lankan politics. That doesn’t mean I am apathetic to matters of national interest. It just means that I value my sanity more. I make no apologies.

When I am not ranting or raving about literature, music or cricket, I write about the love of my life without whom this blog wouldn’t have come about. If I have some semblance of sanity, it is because of her. When I am really really bored, I end up writing love letters for my guitars. Again, I make no apologies.

Sincerly,

Comus.
